On January 23, 2025, Viktoriia Sukhareva and Halyna Dmytrenko delivered a lecture titled “Stress, Resources, and Self-Regulation Methods for Yourself and Those Around You” to representatives of the executive bodies of Sumy City Council.

The session focused on vital aspects of maintaining psychological resilience under increased workloads. Participants learned how to recognize stress signals in themselves and others, and were introduced to tools for restoring their inner resources.

This work is particularly important because high-quality performance of professional duties is impossible without understanding how to cope with stress and maintain balance in challenging situations.

Key takeaways from the session:

  • Recognizing the impact of stress on individuals and teams;
  • Understanding the importance of emotional stability for overall effectiveness;
  • Gaining practical tools for stress management and resource restoration.

The health and emotional stability of each specialist directly influence the efficiency of the entire team and, consequently, the well-being of the community.

The project “Comprehensive Psychological Assistance for IDPs and Those Affected by War: Materials, Public Lectures, Trainings, and Individual Consultations” is implemented by the NGO Lifelong Learning Centre in partnership with fellows of the Zavtra.UA program.
