We are thrilled to congratulate our co-founder and chair of the board, Yuriy Petrushenko, who has officially begun his Fulbright Scholar program at the Institute for Public Affairs & Civic Engagement (PACE) at Salisbury University, USA. His project, focused on promoting civic reflection and addressing social tensions in post-war Ukraine, aligns deeply with the core values and strategic vision of our organization.
Yuriy’s research aims to bring forward innovative strategies for mitigating social challenges in Ukraine by drawing on successful dialogue practices from the US. This work directly contributes to the goals we champion as an NGO—advancing quality education, fostering the development of a democratic society, and creating opportunities for lifelong learning and civic engagement.
Yuriy’s dedication to these ideals embodies our mission to provide inclusive and equitable quality education, while also addressing societal needs, protecting civic rights, and promoting human freedoms. His focus on fostering open dialogue and collaboration aligns with our organizational values of teamwork, openness, and respect for the free will of individuals.
We are proud that Yuriy’s efforts will not only enhance the social and civic fabric of Ukraine but also reflect our commitment to empowering communities through education and civic participation.
We wish him continued success as he embarks on this important journey, and we look forward to the invaluable insights and impact his work will bring to our shared mission.
