Launching of the project aimed at psychological aid for residents of Sumy oblast!

In August 2022, the project aimed at the implementation of psychosocial support for Sumy oblast started. This project is funded by the humanitarian organization MedAir in Ukraine, and is one of the many designed to help the residents of Sumy oblast. This project is developed to provide education and training in first psychological aid (FPA), psychoeducation, and support for people who needs help and who provide help. This project was designed after visiting the cities damaged by russian invasion, namely Trostianets, Okhtyrka, Lebedyn, and Vorozhba. During August, the training for PFA trainers was accomplished. And today, the beginning of the project activities is something to be proud of. The experienced trainers organized the events in Trostianets, Okhtyrka, and Lebedyn. More than 55 people participated in the trainings of a different kind.

This project is managed by NGO “Lifelong Learning Centre” funded by the humanitarian organization MedAir in Ukraine. Project partners & supporters are NGO “Crisis Center of Mental Health”, Hotline of International Organization of Migration (IOM), LEbedyn City Council, Sumy city council, Trostianets city council, and Okhtyrka City Council.
