On 15–16 November 2025, representatives of the NGO “Lifelong Learning Centre” took part in a Strategic Session dedicated to planning the organizational development of Adult Learning and Education Centres (ALCs). The event was held within the framework of the international project “Enhancing the Professionalization of Adult Learning and Education Centres in Europe,” aimed at strengthening the institutional capacities of ALCs with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
The session brought together leaders, experts, and managers of educational organizations from various regions of Ukraine who are working on advancing the adult education system, improving management processes, and implementing modern approaches to organizational development.
The NGO “Lifelong Learning Centre” was represented by: Yuriy Petrushenko, Chair of the NGO; and Stanislav Kotenko, Project Manager.
Participants exchanged experiences, analyzed key challenges in the adult education sector, identified development priorities, and outlined joint areas of work for 2026. Particular attention was given to strengthening the institutional resilience of ALCs, enhancing the quality of educational services, and expanding international cooperation.
The NGO “Lifelong Learning Centre” continues to actively contribute to initiatives aimed at developing adult education in Ukraine and increasing its alignment with European standards.
