The NGO Lifelong Learning Centre officially announces the completion of the large-scale project “Reintegration of Veterans through the Creation of Educational Opportunities: Peers for Peers”, implemented throughout 2025–2026. This initiative became an important platform for supporting Ukrainian defenders and their families in adapting to civilian life through education, well-being activities, and professional development.
Throughout the project, a team of experts led by Stanislav Kotenko focused on creating a high-quality and accessible learning environment. Participants were able to choose areas most relevant to their professional growth and emotional recovery. Among the key activities were successful courses on grant writing and business project development delivered by Inna Balahurovska, SMM for business training led by Mariia Minchenko, and language courses “Step by Step: Ukrainian for Life” taught by Kateryna Koroshchenko.
In addition to its educational component, the project provided comprehensive mental and physical health support. Participants worked with psychologist Viktoriia Ratieieva, attended creative art therapy workshops facilitated by Maryna Fenota and Vadym Dubodielov, and received professional support from physiotherapist Mykhailo Panchenko. Legal consultations, provided by Liudmyla Rudenko and Olha Shvager, also played an important role in helping veterans address urgent legal issues.
The successful implementation of the project was made possible through cooperation with DVV International in Ukraine and financial support from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany. The team of the Lifelong Learning Centre expresses its sincere gratitude to all partners and participants for their trust.
Although this phase has been completed, the organisation continues its mission and is already preparing new initiatives, including updated communication courses and projects aimed at developing veteran entrepreneurship—further strengthening the community and creating opportunities for all.
